On Sunday, March 8th, please join us as Miriam Lynah shares her experience as a study abroad student with Semester at Sea. While taking classes and living on a converted cruise ship, Miriam and her fellow students traveled around the world, visiting 11 countries in 100 days. Leaving from Canada, the ship visited Japan, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, India, Tanzania, South Africa, Brazil, and Cuba. From visiting Angkor Wat to a homestay with a Japanese family to a close encounter with Fidel Castro, this Armchair Travelogue will take us all over the globe.
Since Semester at Sea is a college-based study abroad program, we encourage all school age children to attend and learn about this incredible opportunity. After the presentation, Miriam will be able for questions from prospective students.
